HBA COMMUNITY PROJECT IN HUBBARD

HBA KICKS OFF COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT FOR WOUNDED SHARON

REGIONAL EMPLOYEE

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Youngstown, Ohio- The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Valley kicked off

their 2014 community service project Monday May 19th at an area Hubbard home.

Each year the HBA of the Valley performs several community service projects. This year we’ve chose to help a longtime HBA friend, Linda Clark of Hubbard. Linda is the Sharon Regional employee who was stabbed in the neck while working in the emergency department in November 2013.  Linda was fortunate to live through the trauma, but still faces challenges from her injury.

Bill Clipse, 2014 HBA President says, “Linda has been a resource to the HBA of the Valley for years through her portraits of HBA Presidents and paintings of Parade of Homes houses. We were deeply saddened to hear of her trauma in 2013 & happy to help her family complete a beautiful deck for her to enjoy while she continues to recover. We believe in giving back to the community when we can!”

The HBA businesses involved in this project include Meander Homes, ARA Home Remodeling LLC, Carter Lumber and Banner Supply. Deck pots donate by Lowe’s.

For more information regarding this project, please contact the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Valley at 330.965.9779. We’re working for you!
